Start-Up Stages for Small Business
This page is subject to modification at any time.
There are stages toward building a magnificent website.
The code developers match the selection of a theme template from content, images, and videos supplied by you.
Prep Stage
There is peripheral content that should be completed by you. Let's settle this...
It is our humble opinion to target and fill a market niche because it is easier to get found on the Internet when a potential visitor and hopefully, a customer is conducting a search on the World Wide Web.
This point is up for debate. If you follow the same path as everyone else (we call it cattle call) using the same search keywords), forget it. You are better off doing what you love doing best because other fanatical people, just like you, will find you. Besides, isn't it easier to deal with people just like you?
Maybe not? Ok, bad joke. Fill a market niche.
At a later stage, learn how to carefully apply keywords (Search Engine Optimization - SEO) to your valuable content, images, and videos that accurately describe your distinctive hobby or unique business so that people can easily find you on the World Wide Web. We found a free extensive SEO course but "hold your horses" until later. It is preferable to pay-per-click advertising (PPC).
Important: Be aware that during the core development stage of building your website, we include organic SEO at no charge so that the search engines notice your website at an earlier stage to give it a head start.
If you decide to follow the same path as everyone else, we hope you got gazillions and can afford many years of staying power.
Start-Up Checklist
Here is a list of tasks to be supplied by you to the code developer. Send your content by email with attachments.
Mandatory Recommendations (don't leave home without doing this):
- Purchase a business email with Google Workspace Gmail. Begin with the "Business Starter." Purchase one. Doing this step is an essential ingredient for YouTube and other important channels.
- Design a logo for your business. Make sure to include a 100 x 100 pixel of your logo to serve as an icon tab that goes at the top of the browser of your website.
- Design graphics containing large pixel-rich images 5000 x 5000 on your website and possibly for T-shirts and mugs.
- Create a feature-rich high-quality video for your website.
- Record 3 minutes of background music to possibly add to your website or promotional advertising to be used for introductory videos and branding podcasts.
For your consideration:
Google Workspace Gmail ($6.00 per email, monthly)
Canva (free forever option)
Fiverr (reasonably-priced paid option)
Placeit (free forever option)
-- Placeit is excellent for mockup images to sell T-shirts and accessories rather than hiring moody models or just plastering boring T-shirt squares. Use Canva or Fiverr. Import images into Placeit to get mockups.
